Stryker experimented on many mutants in the underground base and research laboratory. Victor Creed helped round up mutants for experimentation, eventually bringing in his half-brother James Howlett in the early 1980’s. Howlett’s skeleton and retractable bone claws were covered with Adamantium. His healing factor made him the first test subject out of ten to survive the experiments. He was dubbed “Weapon X”. Wow I didn't know the Prince of Persia decided to be Wolverine and it's good that he's wearing shorts here but nothing compares to Hugh Jackman's ROAR in the movie, it sounded like he got soap water in his eyes!
Real shame when a video game did the scene better than a high budget film
So they made him indestructible just to get his DNA and then after realizing how bad they fucked up. Why not just black him out during the process of this, take his dna and then kill him? But I seriously doubt he would have……well maybe he would have if not for the metal before after being shot in the head.

Wait, what? This is just terrible writing. Stryker starts off the beginning of the scene saying " I can promise you two things …. you will endure more pain than any man ever could" but then it just kind of trails off after that about admantium and the flashback horseshit. He never says the 2nd thing. What was it??? LOL …. "I can promise you two things" <names one thing and moves on>
